If you’re thinking about bringing your furry friend to Pooch & Play, there are a few things you might want to know! To make every new pooch feel comfortable and at home, every four-legged friend is welcomed with a trial to ensure they feel happy, healthy and safe while in our care.
If you’re looking to start your very first trial, you might be wondering what to expect! To help you understand how it works, what to do and when to be here, we’ve put together a quick guide to get you started.
Step 1: Apply For Your Free Trial
If you haven’t already, fill out this form to apply for your free-trial.
Step 2: Set A Date
Once you submit the form, one of our friendly team members will reach out to you to schedule a convenient time to meet. This helps us understand your pooch’s personality, how they might interact with the pack and what we can do to make it a safe, fun time!
Step 3: Let’s Meet
Once we have a date locked in, we will invite you to our exclusive trial area for an initial consultation. Through a one-on-one interaction, we make it our priority to understand exactly how you pooch will fit in! Safety is our top priority, so please ensure your dog comes on-leash or harness before the trial begins.
Step 4: Sniff Out The Pack
Once everyone is comfortable with each other, our experienced staff will gradually introduce your dog to new friends and evaluate their compatibility throughout the session.
Step 5: Start Your Trial
After successful socialisation, your pooch will be ready to join our daycare with their newfound companions. This trial typically lasts 2-3 hours to ensure a smooth transition to our daycare program and we will provide frequent updates via mobile so you can stay in touch.
